I am an Assistant Professor of Innovation, Policy and Entrepreneurship at the Society Hub of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (Guangzhou). I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University in May 2020.Â
My research is grounded in microeconomics, experimental economics, and behavioral economics, with strong interdisciplinary connections to human-computer interaction. My work centers around the role of beliefs in economic behavior, ranging from theoretical studies of non-Bayesian belief updating to experimental investigations of trust and cooperation. By leveraging a multi-method toolkit combining game theory, lab and field experiments, large-scale data analysis, and cutting-edge technology, I generate insights that advance scholarly understanding and offer actionable solutions to pressing societal challenges in sustainability, technological impact, and public policy innovation.
